Hollerhorn Distilling is honored to be participating in Bee’s Knees Week. Established in 2017 by Caledonia Spirits, the distillers of Barr Hill Gin, Bee’s Knees Week is an annual event on a mission to save the bees.  During the last week of September, bars and restaurants across the country (including us!) serve the Bee’s Knees cocktail, donating $1 for each to a non-profit working to save the bees. 100% of donations go to a non-profit working to help save the bees.  To date, participants have donated over $30,000 to 5 non-profits working on issues ranging from reducing neonicotinoids (a harmful pesticide), to planting pollinator gardens, to installing educational beehives in public places among others.

All funds raised this year will go to The Bee Cause Project to install educational bee hives in your region. The Mission of The Bee Cause Project is to provide opportunities to understand, engage, and learn from honey bees in order to connect with the natural environment.
