A third generation zydeco musician, he has kept his family’s musical tradition alive, picking up the washboard at 9 years old, the drums at 13, and traveling the world professionally at 19. Dikki Du and the Zydeco Krewe have been playing together for over 12 year, incorporating his musical heritage with unique experience to create one of the most innovative zydeco groups around. Dikki Du’s original funky and hypnotic zydeco style announces that he has arrived, occupying a spot on par with the best.
