Hollerhorn will be closed all day, and re-opened at 6pm for the pairing, with Aaron Pridmore starting the festivities playing the upright piano! First Course: Van Winkle 12yr family reserve bourbon paired with Dawphinoise,
blood orange, olive & fennel salad with a bourbon vinaigrette
Second Course: Springbank 16yr cask strength "local barley" single malt scotch
paired with Duck Rillets with pickled shallots, radishes, cornichons, apple coriander relish and Mull of Kintyre cheese with assorted crostini
Third Course: Deconstructed Beef Wellington Sous Vide Beef tenderloin with wild mushroom, Rabbit Liver Pate on herb puff pastry paired with a George T Strugg cask strength bourbon
Following this special event, at 8:30pm, we will be open to the public for a celebration with Aaron Lipp & The Slack Tones. Featuring celebratory dark chocolate cupcakes with brown butter bourbon frosting and a tasting of the newest barrel selection McKenzie Cask Strength Rye Whiskey finished in a Wider (Hazlitt) sherry cask with a donation of $25 or more.
Karl Neubauer has been working tirelessly to get our stills fired up, putting in long hours in our still room downstairs, but there is still more to do. We need your help to get our test stills in place. While our large stills are not feasible at the moment, your help will get our 28 gallon still running in time for the very first "Spirit Release" of a Naples' spirit, made with Wohlschlegel maple syrup, this coming March - mark your calendars!
